The Free Motion Quilting Project: The Density Question
I have been having the same issues. I am learning how to FMQ using baby panels.... if you quilt them to densely they are not drape-able and cuddly. If you do not FMQ them enough they tend to fall apart faster. I tend to over quilt so I have been trying to strike a balance with quilting larger motifs in areas and not being so dense.
